Very Brief Curriculum Vitae
Motonobu Tomoda
M. Tomoda is a graduate from this laboratory (1999). He specializes in picosecond laser acoustics techniques in nanostructures, local probing techniques involving ultrasonics and optics, and ultrafast optical tomography techniques for the detection of propagating acoustic pulses in solids, phononic crystals, acoustic metamaterials, topological metamaterials.
He also supervised physics experiments for 2nd and 3rd year students in the areas of mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and programings.
M. Tomoda kept the laboratory afloat with his remarkable multitalented abilities in computing, electronics, optics, acoustics... almost everything in fact.
He moved to Oita University as associate professor.
