Romping in the Rings

The rocket zooms away for now
We two alone in Saturnfs rings
A frosty moonlet for our home
Awaiting what the future brings

Through darkened visors we gaze out
with arms akimbo at the night
A vast array of icy lumps
suspended, frozen, glinting bright

To work! A list of tasks so long
Precise instructions from afar
Unfurl the solar panels, and
then fix antennas, blah blah blah

Enough of this, itfs time for fun
First boulder-hopping is our game
Then interstellar hide-and-seek
And snowball fights, but these seem tame

Letfs hop to shepherd satellites
Prometheus, Pandora, Pan
And carve enormous faces of
graffiti smileys while we can
