Moon Fruits

Imagine a banana that
Is fifty million times the size
A moon-fruit born with skin and all
And tumbling over as it flies

Behold! Gargantuan strawberry
So tight by gravity embraced
Around the planet Neptune turns
A zillion tons for you to taste

A passion fruit like Jupiter
Letfs brandish an enormous spoon
And pierce its leathery crust to see
Its luscious seeds, each one a moon

Humongous lime in orbit, dwarves
the comets, moons and planets too
If I could squeeze you just a bit
What sour oceans would ensue?

If Newtonfs dream should turn out true:
a giant apple for the ‚loon!
But woe betide you when it drops
Youfll realise you laughed too soon
